Documenting The Moral Decline That Threatens To Destroy America

Does Barack Obama Carry A Medal That Honors The Virgin Mary?

Another one of the items that Barack Obama constantly carries in his pockets for good luck has been identified. The newly identified item is called "the Miraculous Medal" and it is also known as the Medal of the Immaculate Conception, and it is worn by many Catholics around the world in honor of the Virgin Mary.

A picture of both sides of this medal is at the bottom of this article.

Catholics who were this medal believe that it will bring them special "graces" through the intercession of Mary if it is worn with devotion.

The picture at the top of this article is from the latest issue of the French magazine Paris Match, although it was originally published in Time magazine.

This photograph shows President Obama revealing the "good luck charms" that he always carries in his pockets.

"The Miraculous Medal" also is closely associated with "Our Lady of Medjugorje".

According to one blog, on November 27th, 1989, the visionary Marija received the following message from "Our Lady of Medjugorje":

Today is the feast day of the miraculous medal, and I want that you pray, in a special way, for the salvation of those people who are carrying this miraculous medal.

This new revelation comes months after another one of Barack Obama's lucky charms had been positively identified as the Hindu god "Hanuman".

So was Barack Obama sworn in as the next president of the United States with his hand on a Bible and a Hindu god in his pocket?

Besides the Miraculous Medal and the Hanuman idol, some of Barack Obama's other lucky charms have been identified as a bracelet that belonged to a soldier deployed in Iraq, a gambler’s lucky chit and a tiny Madonna and child.

The little statue with the multiple arms in the picture at the top of the article is the little idol of Hanuman that has caused such an uproar.

Time magazine did not originally identify the specific Hindu god that the idol represents when they broke this story last summer, but a number of Hindu websites have been quick to point out that the Hindu god depicted is actually known as "Hanuman".

The Hindustan Times is one of the publications that are positively identifying this idol as Hanuman, and this story was very positively received in the Hindu world. In fact, it has been reported that presidential candidate Barack Obama was to accept a 2 foot tall gold plated idol of the Hindu god "Hanuman" from a group of prominent Hindus in India who were incredibly excited when they heard about how Obama carries Hanuman around with him.

Obama's father was a Kenyan and his mother was from Kansas, but Obama did spend a portion of his early life in Indonesia where Hinduism is a very popular religion. Some are speculating that is when he may have acquired this particular idol, but nobody really knows.

Hanuman is one of the more important of the Hindu gods. There are many temples devoted to the worship of Hanuman, especially in India.

According to Hinduism, Hanuman represents pure devotion, complete surrender and the absence of ego or the lower self. They believe that once one completely surrenders to the inner self and the mind becomes devoted completely, the mind can obtain miraculous powers and perform amazing feats like that of Hanuman. Hindus also believe that all the planets in the solar system are under the control of Hanuman's large tail. In addition, it is thought by Hindus that whoever worships Hanuman is granted tremendous fortitude and strength.

But wait, isn't Barack Obama supposed to be a Christian?

Apparently Obama must not be familiar with the 2nd of the Ten Commandments:

"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image"

-Exodus 20:4

What in the world is a "Christian" politician doing running around using a Hindu god for "good luck"?

Now a lot of people may be thinking "what's the big deal", but if the God of the Bible exists (and He most certainly does), then for the leader of the United States to be carrying around a Hindu god is not a good idea at all. Americans will not be blessed if they turn their backs on God. Already the United States is literally falling apart before our eyes, and if we all continue to reject God then things will not change for the better no matter who gets elected.

Getting back to the Miraculous Medal, posted below is a picture of one where you can see both sides.....

That commandment goes for any graven image, even the medal of Mary. America has already turned it's back on God. When man runs a nation without God , it is destined for doom. History repeats itself over and over again. example: just look at what happened to the Jews in the Bible over and over again when they rebeled against God. A nation needs to be run as God has set forth in the Bible. If it does, it will be prosperous and safe from any enemy.

It was well known that Obama's opponent, John McCain, also carries a Miraculous Medal always with him. McCain, like Obama, is not Catholic; the medal was given him by Mother Theresa of Calcutta when he adopted a child from her orphanage.

The Miraculous Metal is not a lucky charm in the Catholic faith. It is worn much like one might wear a locket with pictures of loved ones inside. It serves as a reminder of Mary's perfect devotion to God. In the wearer's devotion (not worship) of Mary, he or she would allow Mary to lead him or her toward Christ. Many miracles have been attributed to this medal. Despite what we each believe, all Christians are called to pray for our nation and President Obama, that God's Hand is upon us, even when we are facing the most seemingly impossible of circumstances.

You are absolulely right, either serve God with all your heart, or decide to chose the Devil. If you call yourself a Christian, (not catholic) the 1st commandment itself "Thou shall have no other Gods before me" is broken.
Who cares about miracles?? Doesn't the Devil himself expertise in performing miracles? Is our faith based on mere miracles or The Word of God?

Let God give The President wisdom, knowlegde and insight for things above. Amen.

The Church and State are separated in the US for a reason - to avoid religious persecution. If this is so, then it really should not matter what the president carries in his pocket. You can think he's a bad Christian if you want, but that should have nothing to do with his role as our President. If you're looking for a fully Christian nation - which America has never been, not even before the country was "falling apart" as you so wonderfully exaggerated - then move somewhere else.
