Many in the pro-life community are very excited that John McCain has chosen the strongly pro-life governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin, as his running mate.

Many pro-lifers have been very suspicious of McCain up until now, but Sarah Palin is strongly pro-life, a supporter of capital punishment, and belongs to Feminists for Life, and this will give social conservatives much more of a reason to conisder John McCain.

While many Christians who are strongly opposed to abortion are very lukewarm about John McCain (and deservedly so), the choice of Sarah Palin looks like it is going to significantly change the dynamics of this campaign:

It is sad to see Mexico follow the United States right down the moral toilet on the issue of abortion.

A majority of Mexico's Supreme Court justices have publicly stated that a Mexico City law legalizing abortion does not violate the Mexico Constitution.

Thus, it is expected that the Mexico Supreme Court will rule that abortion is perfectly legal in Mexico City.

And as Mexico City goes, so goes the rest of Mexico eventually.

So now Mexico is following right down the wretched path of America, which has brutally killed 40 million babies since Roe vs. Wade legalized abortion in the United States.

A new law in Colorado that prohibits discrimination against homosexuals has been written so vaguely and so broadly that many Christian legal experts are warning that it would easily be used to ban the Bible in that state.

"Section 8 of Senate Bill 200 is a wide open door for any judge to censor anything that condemns homosexuality, including Scripture," Rep. Kevin Lundberg said at a news conference.

Steve Crampton, general counsel of Liberty Counsel, was even more bold in his assessment: "I do believe that the Bible is banned, under the plain language of this new statute."
