Have you ever stopped for a moment and really wondered what is happening to this country? We are in such an advanced state of moral decline that it hard to even describe. It is as if a large percentage of the population has gone crazy. If you have not seen the video posted below, please take 4 minutes out and watch it. It is entitled "The Madness Of A Lost Society" and it is extraordinary. In it you will view footage of what happened at stores from coast to coast this past Black Friday. Americans were actually trampling on top of one another to get their hands on the best deals on cheap foreign-made plastic crap.
What American is becoming is hard to believe. Just check it out....
So exactly what is happening to America?
Why are people behaving this way?
It is because we have turned our backs on God.
God has instructed us how to live, but we think that we know better.
We have pushed Him out of our government, out of our schools, out of our workplaces, out of the news, out of our entertainment and even out of most of our churches.
Today, most Americans do not want anything to do with the God of the Bible. Instead, they just want to keep indulging in sin after sin.
But what should we expect?
The apostle Paul told us that things would be like this in the last days in 2 Timothy chapter 3....
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
The truth is that people are only going to be getting worse.
By the end, most people are going to be acting no better than animals.
Don't let that happen to you.
Now is the time to get radical for Yeshua (Jesus Christ). We would encourage you to read up about the great Christians of the past who have not denied Yeshua even though it cost them their lives. A great book that has hundreds of amazing stories is Extreme Devotion: The Voice of the Martyrs
We also encourage you to check out some of our other sites about the news and events of these last days....
Which holiday is more Christian: Passover or Easter?
On first glance that might seem like a ridiculous question. Isn't Passover a "Jewish" holiday and Easter a "Christian" holiday?
Well, not exactly.
The earliest Christians did not celebrate "Easter".
They celebrated Passover.
After all, when did Jesus die? (On the eve of Passover)
When did He rise from the dead? (During the Feast of Unleavened Bread)
What holiday foreshadowed the sacrifice of the lamb of God? (Passover)
So why do Christians celebrate a holiday called Easter?
Do you even know what the word "Easter" means?
Have you ever wondered where that word came from?
That is something I always wondered about when I was growing up.
However, it was not until I started doing some research that I began to learn the truth.
Our old reference books actually told us the truth about these things.....
The Britannica Encyclopedia (1934) stated:
"EASTER (es’ter). Ostara, or Eastre, was the goddess of Spring in the religion of the ancient Angles and Saxons. Every April a festival was celebrated in her honor. With the beginnings of Christianity, the old gods were put aside. From then on the festival was celebrated in honor of the resurrection of Christ, but was still known as Easter after the old goddess."
So why do we celebrate "Easter"?
Well, the story goes back a long way - to the ancient Middle East.
Have you ever heard of "Ishtar" or "Ashtoreth"? Most of you probably have. They are ancient names of the same pagan fertility goddess. In fact, if you trace the various pagan fertility goddesses back far enough, they all trace back to Semiramis of ancient Babylon.
Over time, "Ashtoreth" and "Asherah" became "Ishtar" which eventually became "Eastre" and then finally "Easter", but it is all the same pagan fertility goddess.
Some other names of "Easter" over the centuries included Aphrodite from ancient Cyprus, Astarte from ancient Greece, Demeter from Mycenae, Kali from India and Ostara, a Norse goddess of fertility.
Easter "eggs" and bunny rabbits are pagan fertility symbols that celebrate this pagan fertility goddess, and they have been used as symbols for her for thousands of years.
So why do Christians celebrate "Easter"?
Jesus did not die on "Easter".
Do you want to know when Jesus died?
He died on the eve of Passover.
You see, in the "Old Testament", God had His people come up to Jerusalem three times per year. One of those times was for Passover.
During the very first Passover, God had the Jews take the blood of a lamb and put it on their doorposts so that the death angel would pass over their houses.
And do you know what doorposts are most commonly made of?
Wood.
And do you know where wood comes from?
From a tree.
So the message of that very first Passover was that the blood of the lamb on the tree covers us from the wrath of God.
Does that sound familiar?
It should.
It is the message of the cross - the blood of the lamb on the tree covers us from the wrath of God!
So for hundreds and hundreds of years, God had His people gather in the exact city where Christ would die, at the exact time of the year when He would die, and He had them celebrate a holiday that perfectly foreshadowed the sacrifice of Jesus the Messiah.
So why do Christians not celebrate the holiday of Passover?
Did you also know that Jesus celebrated Passover? The Last Supper was actually a Passover meal (just look it up in the Scriptures).
During the Last Supper Jesus said to do this meal in memory of Him.
And did you know that all of humanity will celebrate the Passover during the 1000 year reign of Christ (see Ezekiel 45-46)?
Did you know that "Easter" was celebrated by ancient civilizations such as the Assyrians, the Phoenicians, and the Philistines? Did you know that ritual pagan sex acts were involved with the celebration of "Easter"?
So why have we all forsaken a holiday which predicted the sacrifice of Jesus, which is full of symbolism about Jesus, which is during the precise time when Jesus died and rose again and which God tells us in the Scriptures to remember?
Why have we instead been celebrating a pagan fertility festival that is named after a pagan fertility goddess and is filled with pagan symbols and traditions?
The YouTube video below contains even more information on this.....
Perhaps it is time to reconsider a lot of the things that we have taken for granted.
The Bible has nothing to say about Easter.
But it has a ton to say about Passover.
If you do not know much about Passover, I would encourage you to pick up your Bible and to read about it. Passover is a truly extraordinary holiday that perfectly foreshadowed the sacrifice of Christ every year for over a thousand years before Jesus arrived on earth.
What would cause 45 year old Bruce Jeffrey Prado to walk into a Christmas party dressed up as Santa Claus and start shooting at everyone there?
When Prado first got to the house where the party was being held, an 8 year old girl opened the door.
He shot her in the face.
How sick is that?
Apparently after Prado had shot everyone he could he set the house on fire.
Now a ninth body has been pulled out of the charred wreckage.
All of the bodies that have been recovered have been burned beyond recognition and have not been identified.
One neighbor told the Associated Press that she witnessed one teenage boy running from the house screaming, "They shot my family."
Who in the world would do such a twisted thing as this?
Apparently Prado was having marital problems.
There are some reports that his wife was at the party, but this has not been confirmed.
So because your marriage goes bad, you dress up as Santa Claus, go to a Christmas party and shoot an 8 year old girl in the face and start gunning down everyone there, and then you set the place on fire and you ultimately shoot yourself?
That doesn't make sense to a normal person.
But times are far from normal.
The reality is that the United States has rejected the Lord God and when a nation does that, then things start falling apart everywhere.
In the absence of morality, events such as this "Santa Slayer" episode occur with increasing frequency.
The truth is that we now fit the description of how humanity will be in the last days that we find in 2 Timothy 3:1-4.....
"But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God"
Most Americans think that December 25th became a holiday when Catholics decided to make that day the celebration of the birth of Christ. But that is just not true. Before Christmas was ever invented, December 25th was known as "the birthday of the unconquered sun" and it was celebrated as the birthday of pagan gods such as Mithras, Attis, Sol, Dionysus and others.
Most Americans also do not realize that Yule is the name of a major pagan holiday that is celebrated today by thousands upon thousands of people around the world.
Yule was celebrated by the pagans of northern Europe from late December to early January for centuries. When you offer "yuletide" greetings you are acknowledging this celebration. Yule logs were traditionally lit to honor the god "Thor". The holiday would continue until the Yule log burned out, which could take as many as twelve days. Thus this is where we get the "12 days of Christmas". Even an early form of Santa Claus can all be traced back to ancient Yule celebrations.
Another one of the pagan pre-Christian festivals was called Saturnalia.
Saturnalia was a holiday when the Romans commemorated the dedication of the temple of their god Saturn, which was on the 17th of December and the festival would last for a whole week until the 23rd of December.
Later on, the Romans also started holding a festival on December 25 called Dies Natalis Solis Invicti, which means "the birthday of the unconquered sun."
In the year 350 A.D., Pope Julius I declared that "Christ’s birth" would be celebrated on December 25th from then on.
Apparently his rationale was that he was trying to make it easier for pagan Romans to convert to Christianity.
But Jesus was not born on December 25th.
It would have been way too cold for shepherds to be out with their sheep at night during that time.
Today there is more pressure than ever on Christian churches to make Christmas "less offensive" and to try to make it "more inclusive" to people of other religions.
Some of the words that have been censored out of traditional carols include "king", "son" and "virgin".
The famous carol "O Come All Ye Faithful" has also been changed. "O come let us adore Him" has been changed in one U.K. church to "O come in adoration", because it was feared that the original version was sexist.
What kind of world will it be when people can't put up decorations anymore? Whatever happened to freedom of expression?
Meanwhile, Anglicans are doing everything they can to include other religions in their holiday displays. Hindu snowmen and a Chinese dragon will be included in two different Christmas displays in an attempt to make Christmas more "inclusive" of other religions. The Hindu snowmen will be dressed in turbans and will have bindi dots on their foreheads.
Wow!
Will Hindus and Muslims start including Jesus Christ in their holiday displays?
I certainly doubt it.
These stories remind us of what Jesus said in Mark 8:38.....
If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels.
But the truth is that December 25 was a pagan holiday long before the institutional church ever celebrated it as "Christmas". If you do not know about the origins of Christmas, the following video will definitely open your eyes:
For many religious organizations this time of the year is supposed to be a very holy time. But when we scan recent news headlines what do we find? We find atheists and witches on the march and Catholics in full retreat.
One atheist group has been permitted to post an anti-religion sign next to a Christian nativity scene and a "holiday tree" in a display in the state capitol of the state of Washington. A portion of the atheist message on the sign reads: "There is only our natural world. Religion is but myth and superstition that hardens hearts and enslaves minds."
Who ever thought we would see a day when messages such as that become part of holiday displays?
Signs such as the one at the top of this article are becoming increasingly common throughout America.
Apparently they are determined to make sure that God does not protect us.
Meanwhile, although the economy is getting worse, business is booming for psychics, astrologers and witches. With times getting tough, more Americans than ever are seeking supernatural help from sources other than God.
So are the major religious organizations fighting back?
Instead of fighting for truth, most of them seem to be in full retreat.
Apparently someone in the Vatican wants to make sure that priests do not make any homosexuals in attendance feel uncomfortable.
Other religious organizations are a big mess as well.
For instance, the split in the Episcopal church is getting worse. It is a disgrace to see the Episcopal church fall apart in front of the whole world.
The truth is that wickedness is advancing on all fronts. Did you know that Barack Obama has selected the head of a well-known abortion activist group to be his White House communications director? Things like this happen so frequently now that they don't even get noticed.
Hopefully this last story will shock you all a bit. A New York City survey has revealed that almost ten percent of men who say they're straight have sex ONLY with other men. The survey also found that 10% of all married men reported same-sex sexual behavior during the past year.
Now Planned Parenthood of Indiana is offering Christmas gift certificates that recipients can use to get an abortion.
It is hard to describe how sickening all of this is.
This is how Planned Parenthood of Indiana is describing their new "gift certificate" program:
"Looking for an unusual, yet practical gift this holiday season? Planned Parenthood of Indiana (PPIN) is now offering gift certificates for services or the recipient's choice of birth control method."
Since 1973, well over 40 MILLION innocent babies have been chopped up and slaughtered in American abortion mills.
Now people can even give gift certificates to someone so that they can go have an abortion.
How far down the toilet has America gone as a society?
When are we going to wake up and realize that killing about a million babies a year in the United States is a horror that threatens our national survival?
Most Christians are shocked when you tell them that Jesus Christ was not born anywhere near December 25th. The word "Christmas" is not in the Bible, and neither are "Christmas trees" or "Christmas presents". The truth is that most Christians do not know some of the most basic truths about what has been billed as their most important holiday.
Our research has uncovered some shocking truths about Christmas, and we are incredibly excited to announce the release of our brand new YouTube video entitled: "Proof That Jesus Christ Was NOT Born On December 25th". The video is embedded at the end of this post, and we hope that you will watch it and let us know what you think about it.
This new YouTube video explores the following questions among others:
-Would it have been way too cold for the shepherds to be out with their flocks at night in late December?
-Can we prove from the Scriptures that Jesus was NOT born in the winter?
-Do the Scriptures give us information about when Jesus actually was born?
-Was there a real, historical reason why the inns were full when Mary and Joseph were looking for a place to stay?
-Is there a holiday that was instituted by God over a thousand years before Jesus was born that prophetically foreshadowed the circumstances of His birth?
-Does the God of the universe cause His most important events to fall during the holidays that He instituted in the Scriptures?
What you have never been taught about the birth of Jesus may shock you.
You are not going to hear these things in the vast majority of Christian churches.
Watch the video below with an open mind - perhaps it is time for all of us to learn the truth about Christmas.
So, you may ask, why do Christians celebrate Christmas on December 25th?
The truth is that there was a late December pagan holiday that was celebrated for centuries before Jesus was ever born, and many of the "Christmas traditions" of today can be directly traced to pagan religious practices of centuries past.
The Roman Catholics decided to "christianize" that pagan holiday starting in 336 A.D. and turn it into a celebration of the birth of Christ.
Recent polls reveal that a huge percentage of Americans will be spending less this Christmas, and more Americans than ever are choosing not to celebrate Christmas at all. Is this the beginning of the end for "the Big American Christmas"?
A recent gallup poll found that a record-high 35% of Americans say they will spend less on Christmas gifts in 2008 compared with what they spent in 2007.
The same poll found that only 9% of Americans plan to spend more.
An unscientific CNN poll on November 11, 2008, found that a whopping 45% of Americans said they would not be doing any Christmas shopping this year. With all of the job losses, home foreclosures and credit card defaults, it is not a surprise that Americans do not have much money for Christmas this year.
Should it surprise us that more Americans than ever are rejecting big Christmas spending? After all, the new president of the United States, Barack Obama, does not give Christmas presents to his children.
With record numbers of Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists and Jews living in the United States now, a smaller percentage of Americans are celebrating Christmas than ever before. Alternative celebrations such as Kwanzaa are becoming increasingly popular.
Those who are not religious at all are either attacking the holiday or are trying to incorporate a "non-religious" version of Christmas into their lives.
One enterprising greeting card company has actually unveiled "atheist Christmas cards" for the 2008 holiday season.
Others are not afraid to make a full frontal assault on Christmas. Controversial new ads that state, "Why believe in a god? Just be good for goodness' sake" will be appearing on Washington D.C. buses through the end of December. These provocative advertisements are being paid for by the American Humanist Association, and they are spending forty thousand dollars to get their point across.
Some religious groups seemed determined to do their very best to keep fighting for Christmas. Several Christian groups have launched a campaign to boycott retailers who ban "Christmas" references from their holiday advertising.
However, other Christian groups are rejecting Christmas for spiritual reasons. The word "Christmas" is actually not in the Bible, they point out, and Jesus was not born on December 25th.
These Christian groups argue that December 25th was celebrated as a pagan religious holiday long before Jesus ever came to earth, and therefore the celebration of December 25th along with all of the pagan traditions and rituals that have come down to us need to be rejected as well:
Long before October 31st was "All Hallows' Eve" (the evening before the "All Saints Day" of Catholicism) it was known as Samhain, and it was the biggest pagan holiday of the year.
It is still the biggest pagan holiday of the year.
At the bottom of this article we have posted the brand new YouTube video about Halloween that we just released. We would encourage you to watch it and learn the stunning truth about this holiday.
Did you realize that Samhain was celebrated on October 31st for centuries before the word "Halloween" was even invented?
Did you realize that Samhain is still celebrated by huge numbers of people today?
Did you realize that many of the "Halloween traditions" of today can trace back to the pagan practices of ancient peoples?
Did you realize that the Lord commanded us not to be involved in the types of activities that take place on Halloween?
Some of you may think Halloween is a harmless holiday, but the reality is that this is the most important day of the year for Wiccans, witches, warlocks, Satanists and most people who are into the occult.
The dark power behind these people is real and there are dark things that happen on Halloween that are very real even though you may not know about them.
It is time to learn the shocking truth about Halloween:
That is something I always wondered about growing up.
It was not until I started doing some research that I began to learn the truth.
Our old reference books actually told us the truth about these things......
The Britannica Encyclopedia (1934) stated:

So why do we celebrate "Easter"?
Have you ever heard of "Ishtar" or "Ashtoreth"? - Those are ancient names of the same pagan fertility goddess.
Easter "eggs" and bunny rabbits are pagan fertility symbols that celebrate this pagan fertility goddess, and they have been for centuries and centuries.
Jesus did not die on "Easter".
Do you want to know when Jesus died?
He died during the Passover season.
So why do Christians not celebrate the holiday of Passover?
Passover perfectly foreshadowed the sacrifice of Jesus the Messiah.
Passover was prophetically fulfilled by Jesus the Messiah.
The Last Supper was actually a Passover meal (just look it up in the Scriptures).
During the Last Supper Jesus said to do this meal in memory of Him.

Why have we instead been celebrating a pagan fertility festival that is named after a pagan fertility goddess and is filled with pagan symbols and traditions?
The video below contains even more information on this:
Did you know that a pagan winter festival was traditionally the most popular festival of the year in many cultures long before Jesus ever came to this earth?
Did you know that December 25th was celebrated as the "birthday" of pagan gods such as Mithras and Sol long before it became Christianized?
Did you know that Jesus WAS NOT born on December 25th?
One of the pagan pre-Christian festivals was called Saturnalia.

Pagan Scandinavia also celebrated a winter festival called Yule, which was held from late December to early January. Yule logs were lit to honor the god "Thor". The holiday would continue until the Yule log burned out, which could take as many as twelve days. Thus this is where we get the "12 days of Christmas".

Jesus was actually born during the Feast of Tabernacles.
Are you ready for more stuff you didn't know about Christmas?
This October, millions upon millions of Americans will once again celebrate the pagan holiday of "Halloween".
But the reality is that nobody should celebrate this wicked pagan holiday.
Our hope is that most of you have researched the wicked origins of Halloween by now.
Some of you may think Halloween is harmless, but the reality is that this is the most important day of the year for most Satanists and for most people who are into the occult.
We personally know a minister who delivered a woman out of the occult who was involved in the most wicked things imaginable each year on Halloween.
Each year she would get pregnant after Halloween so that she could have a new baby before Halloween so that her and her coven would have a baby to sacrifice on Halloween each year.
This is not a joke.
This is real.
And it is happening in America every year.
It is time to learn the incredbily shocking truth about Halloween:
America has turned against God and every day there are more stories in the news that illustrate this sad reality. Thank you for visiting and please help us get the word out about this blog.
