One of the biggest con jobs in U.S. political history was pulled on American conservatives over the past decade, and most of them still don't even realize it. For two elections, and for over 8 years, George and Laura Bush portrayed themselves as true conservatives who were willing to fight for Christian values. Well, it turns out that the Bushes were never "conservative" at all. In fact, in public statement after public statement they have denied the very basics of the Christian faith. For example, during a recent interview with Larry King, former first lady Laura Bush revealed that she is actually in favor of legalized gay marriage and a woman's "right" to abortion.
This is a woman that conservative women all over the country have looked up to and have endlessly praised.
So what are they supposed to think now?
The truth is that Christians and conservatives collectively spent millions of hours working to get the Bushs into the White House under the assumption that they were conservative Christians.
But Laura Bush sounded very much like Hillary Clinton during this interview with Larry King....
What is that quote that George W. Bush gets criticized for so much? Something about not getting fooled again?....
There's an old saying in Tennessee - I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee - that says, fool me once, shame on - shame on you. Fool me - you can't get fooled again.
Well, it turns out that the Bushs fooled us over and over and over and over.
But sadly, the truth is that the signs were there all along, but conservatives and Christians did not want to see them....
*George W. Bush was a member of the Satanic Skull & Bones Society:
http://www.cuttingedge.org/news/n1314.cfm
*George W. Bush's gay/lesbian policies were identical to Bill Clinton's:
http://www.cuttingedge.org/news/n1652.cfm
*George W. Bush openly worshipped in Islamic mosques and Buddist temples:
http://chuckbaldwinlive.com/bushshintoshrine.html
*George W. Bush publicly said that the Muslim God and the Christian God are the same thing:
http://www.cuttingedge.org/news_updates/nz1528.htm
*George W. Bush actually INCREASED funding for the Planned Parenthood abortion mills:
http://www.covenantnews.com/lefemine050208.htm
Are you starting to get the picture?
The reality is that in his interviews with the press, George W. Bush was very open about the fact that he does not believe what Christians believe.
In one absolutely stunning interview near the end of his second term, George W. Bush actually said that the Bible is "probably not" literally true, that he prays to the same God that other major religions such as Islam do and that he believes in the scientific evidence for Darwinism.
This is his exact quote when he was asked if he believed that the Bible was literally true....
"Probably not. No, I'm not a literalist, but I think you can learn a lot from it."
The cold, hard reality is that George W. Bush has never embraced evangelical Christianity.
For example, George W. Bush publicly said many times that Christians, Muslims and all other religions pray to the exact same God. In fact, Bush says that he prays to the God of Islam, that non-Christians and Muslims will go to heaven and that he has "nothing but praise" for Islam.
You don't believe this?
Check this out.
The following a portion of a transcript of an interview during which Charles Gibson of ABC asked George W. Bush his thoughts about religion.....
CHARLES GIBSON: Do we all worship the same God, Christian and Muslim?
PRESIDENT BUSH: I think we do.
CHARLES GIBSON: Does ...
PRESIDENT BUSH: We have different routes of getting to the Almighty.
(Later in the interview.....)
CHARLES GIBSON: Do Christians and non-Christians and Muslims go to heaven in your mind?
PRESIDENT BUSH: Yes, they do. We have different routes of getting there.
But it wasn't just during the Charles Gibson interview that George W. Bush declared himself to be a universalist.....
In a shocking interview with Al Arabiya television, Bush said the following....
"I believe in an almighty God, and I believe that all the world, whether they be Muslim, Christian, or any other religion, prays to the same God."
During that same interview Bush also said this....
"I believe there is a universal God. I believe the God that the Muslim prays to is the same God that I pray to. After all, we all came from Abraham. I believe in that universality."
During one trip to Iraq, Bush is reported to have made this statement....
"I want you to convey this message to Mr. Sistani. Tell him that I pray to the same god he prays to... Tell Sistani I have nothing but praise for your religion."
Now does any of that sound "Christian" to you?
According to George W. Bush, Jesus must have been mistaken in John 14:6 when He said this.....
"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
How in the world can anyone continue to claim that the Bushs are conservatives or that they are evangelical Christians?
The truth is that they never have been.
It is time for conservatives to face up to the truth....
We got fooled by the Bushes.

Newsweek Magazine Publishes A Cover Story That Declares That The Bible Condones And Promotes Gay Marriage
Some of the most powerful institutions in our society are telling us what we should think about gay marriage. The folks over at Newsweek magazine has certainly made their feelings known on this issue.
Many of us read Newsweek on a regular basis growing up. It has been one of the most cherished news weeklies for decades.
Well, Newsweek magazine has actually published a cover story entitled "Gay Marriage: Our Mutual Joy" that declares that the Bible not only condones but actually promotes gay marriage.
The lead in to the article says this:
"Opponents of gay marriage often cite Scripture. But what the Bible teaches about love argues for the other side."
It seems as though the debate over this issue has reached a boiling point.
Even the Roman Catholics are changing.
The head of the Vatican press office has announced that the Roman Catholic Church is against outlawing homosexual behavior, although it remains opposed to same sex marriages.
All of these events have caused us to reflect on this piece of Scripture:
For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.
-2 Timothy 4:3
Raw Story is reporting on a new poll that reveals that support for gay marriage is rapidly increasing among people all across the United States. In the results of the new poll, 55 percent of Americans favor "civil unions" or "civil partnerships", while only 40 percent were in favor of them in 2004.
When asked about gay marriage, 39 percent of Americans supported full "marriage" rights for gay couples.
This is still not a majority, but it is significantly higher than the 33 percent figure that the poll reported for that question in 2004.
So, while gay marriage is still illegal in almost all areas of the United States, the reality is that the attitude of Americans is quickly shifting in favor of gay marriage.
Should we be surprised?
Well, the truth is that the media is overwhelmingly in favor of gay marriage. So is the education system. So is Hollywood.
Just think of the last time you saw a movie or a television show that portrayed gay marriage as a bad thing. You can't think of one, can you?
Can you think of any celebrities that are openly against gay marriage?
Can you think of any celebrities that are for gay marriage? Of course you can. Almost all of the most prominent celebrities are very openly in favor of gay marriage.
The reality is that the institutions of influence - the media, the education system and the entertainment industry are overwhelmingly in favor of gay marriage.
Every day these institutions reach millions upon millions of people, especially young people, with their message.
So America will continue to move in the direction of full acceptance of gay marriage.
If America continues to refuse to turn back to God then it is only a matter of time.
The world is changing in radical ways every single day.Now eHarmony is the one making headlines.
eHarmony has formally agreed to provide same-sex matches as part of a lawsuit settlement. Previously, people seeking same sex matches were not able to do so using eHarmony, because eHarmony only arranged matches between men and women.
There is another, related, development on the legal front.
California's Supreme court has agreed to hear several legal challenges to the state's new ban on same-sex marriage.
So the battle over gay marriage in the state of California is far from over. If these legal challenges don't achieve the result gay activists desire, then it is likely that Californians will be faced with this issue again on the 2010 ballot.
It is getting scary out there for Christians in California. The passage of Proposition 8 in California has unleashed the fury of the gay community. Unprecedented threats of harrassment and violence against Christians are being reported that are simply jaw dropping.
At one Mormon temple in L.A., dozens of protesters waved signs, confronted police and yelled slogans such as "Bigots!" and "Shame on you!" at people coming in and out.
WorldNetDaily even reported that protesters parked an SUV painted with hate messages in front of a Mormon family's house.
But some of the worst threats of all are coming from the blogs of gay activists.
Canada Free Press has documented some of the horrible threats that have come from the gay community. Check out what some of these bloggers are saying:
"I have never considered being a violent radical extremist for our Equal Rights, But now I think maybe I should consider becoming one."
"Can someone in CA please go burn down the Mormon temples there, PLEASE. I mean seriously. DO IT."
"I’m going to give them something to be f – ing scared of. … I’m a radical who is now on a mission to make them all pay for what they’ve done."
"Burn their f–ing churches to the ground, and then tax the charred timbers."
"I hope the No on 8 people have a long list and long knives."
"I swear, I’d murder people with my bare hands this morning."
"Trust me. I’ve got a big list of names of mormons and catholics that were big supporters of Prop 8. … As far as mormons and catholics ... I warn them to watch their backs."
This is truly scary. You can read more about these threats here:
http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/6081
The video below gives some true insight into the mood of these protesters. In particular, pay attention to the one part of the video where the protesters actually start stomping on a cross:
The protests over the passage of Proposition 8 in California are becoming increasingly violent.
You have got to see this absolutely shocking footage:
You have got to see this absolutely shocking footage:
Just when you've completely and totally given up on California.....On a day when Californians overwhelmingly voted for Barack Obama, California voters approved an amendment to their constitution outlawing same sex marriage, overturning the California Supreme Court decision that granted gay couples the right to wed just a few months ago.
With almost 100 percent of the precincts now reporting, Proposition 8 was leading 52 percent to 48 percent.
The battle over Proposition 8 was one of the most passionate fights over a ballot initiative in American history. The "Yes on (Proposition) 8" campaign had raised approximately 35 million dollars and had sent out about 100,000 volunteers all over the state of California.
The "No on 8" faction had raised approximately 38 million dollars and had about 10,000 volunteers.
Campaign donations for this fight came in from all across the United States, with Christians and Mormons donating for Proposition 8, and gay rights activists and Hollywood stars such as Ellen DeGeneres and Brad Pitt donating to oppose it.
Chip White, a co-campaign manager for the "Yes on (Proposition) 8" campaign said this after the results came in: "Momentum continues to be on our side as California recognizes the serious consequences if gay marriage remains legal."
Florida and Arizona also voted Tuesday to outlaw gay marriage, joining dozens of other states that define marriage as being exclusively between a man and a woman. In both Florida and Arizona, there were laws that already defined marriage as a heterosexual institution, but supporters pushed to amend the state constitutions, claiming that doing so would protect marriage from future legal challenges.
Ultimately, it ended up being a really great election for the opponents of gay marriage.
However, it is important to note that the California vote against gay marriage was not nearly as strong as it was eight years ago.
Eight years ago, Californians voted 61% to define marriage as being between one man and one woman. So Tuesday's vote was substantially weaker, and this has got to be a source for concern.
But the amendment still passed, and that is something to be thankful for.
A California Kindergarten Teacher Has Her Kindergarten Students Sign Pledge Cards In Support Of Gay Rights
The news seemingly gets crazier every single day.A kindergarten teacher at a public school in California actually had her kindergarten students sign "pledge cards" in support of homosexual rights.
Yes, you read that correctly.
Now, for one thing, kindergarten students don't have the first idea what sex even is.
Do we want kindergarten students to be thinking about these things?
Sonja Eddings Brown, a spokeswoman for Protect Marriage California, asked this question: "How do you teach a 5-year-old to sign a pledge card for lesbian, gay and transgender issues without explaining what transgender and bisexual is?"
The California school system where this took place refuses to say what action, if any, it will take on this matter.
A headline like this would have been unthinkable in the America of the 1940s or 50s. It seems as though the United States has changed forever.
Eighteen 1st graders, ages five and six, took a field trip to San Francisco city hall last Friday for the wedding of their lesbian teacher and her lesbian partner. The interim director of the school, Liz Jaroslow, told The San Francisco Chronicle that the field trip was "a teachable moment," and she said that she believes the field trip was academically justified.
What is happening to our public schools?
If any of you have an opinion on this story please feel free to leave a comment.
In a stunning decision on Friday, the Connecticut Supreme Court ruled that gay couples have a constitutional right to marriage. This makes Connecticut the third state in the United States to give gay couples the right to get married:
1) Massachusetts
2) California
3) Connecticut
Meanwhile, most of the rest of the states have given gay couples the chance to enter into "civil unions" which guarantee them most if not all the same rights and privileges of married couples.
We are living during a time of radical change, and America will never be the same again.
American public opinion about gays in the military has shifted dramatically since President Bill Clinton unveiled the "don't ask, don't tell" policy 15 years ago.A Washington Post/ABC News poll reveals that 75 percent of Americans believe that gay people who are open about their sexual orientation should be allowed to serve in the U.S. military. That is up from 62 percent in 2001 and 44 percent in 1993.
LifeSiteNews has published a story that reveals that Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates has invested 26 million dollars in a homosexual publishing company. The $26.2 million investment is in PlanetOut, a publishing company which runs Out magazine as well as the dating website "Gay.com" which is used primarily for sexual "hook ups" and all gay cruises. The material put out by this publishing company includes hard core homosexual pornography.
And did you know that the father of Bill Gates was the head of Planned Parenthood?
In a 2003 PBS interview, Gates said: "When I was growing up . . . my dad was head of Planned Parenthood. And it was very controversial to be involved with that."
A large percentage of the funds from the "Gates foundation" goes to population reduction and eugencis programs.
And Bill Gates is not alone. The $31 billion donation to the Gates foundation last year by multi-billionaire Warren Buffet will also be partially used to further population control measures.
Buffett is very concerned about world population and has given multi-million dollar donations to causes such as the production of the abortion pill RU-486 and Planned Parenthood.
This is the video that has the gay community across America absolutely furious:
Bill Maher, host of "Real Time With Bill Maher" on HBO, will be releasing a blasphemous new movie called "Religulous" on October 3rd.Among those interviewed by Maher in the film is a man playing Jesus at a Holy Land theme park in Orlando, Muslims at a gay bar in Amsterdam, and Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda, a Puerto Rican man who refers to himself both as “the Second Coming of Jesus” and “the Antichrist.”
Maher is very open with the fact that the purpose of the film is to mock religion, and Maher admits that the film will offend “any religious person.”
On another note, veteran Christian music artist Ray Boltz has come out and openly announced his homosexual lifestyle.
Many Christians are absolutely in shock over the Ray Boltz news, and this comes at a time when actor Brad Pitt has just donated $100,000 to support gay marriage in California.
It seems as though every day there is just stunning news about the collapse of morality in America. We need to pray for the people of this nation while there is still time.

Lindsay Lohan Plans To Marry Her Lesbian LoverAfter giving up on men and dating her lesbian girlfriend for only a few months, Lindsay Lohan is now planning to get married.
I guess the matching tattoos should have been a clue that they were serious.
Just a few days after DJ Samantha Ronson announced that Lindsay would be her wife by the end of year, the "Mean Girls" star is wearing quite a ring on her wedding finger.
Actress Jessica Alba Tries To "Seduce The Vote" With A Raunchy, Topless, Bondage AdApparently "Rock The Vote" was not enough. Now actress Jessica Alba is out to "seduce the vote".
The young star of "Sin City" is shot topless in the photo campaign with heavy eye makeup and black tape across her mouth and chest.
The pictures include the tag line "Only You Can Silence Yourself" and Alba claims that the pictures "really resonate" with young people.
Particularly with young males I would suppose.
Pornography In The Classroom
A high school photography teacher in Phoenix, Arizona has been put on administrative leave after his students said that he showed them "torture porn" videos for 20 minutes during class.
One of the students said that the teacher began a photography lesson by connecting his personal computer to a projector screen. The class was told to work on an assignment, and he allegedly began viewing the torture porn videos during instruction time, all the while forgetting that the projector was still connected to his laptop.
"He forgot the projector screen was turned on and he started watching porn and we were all just like sitting there shocked that he was watching this in front of the class," one of the students said.
And the sad thing is that this is not an isolated incident.
There are countless teachers in America who are addicted to pornography.
What is particularly sick about this individual is that he sat there watching it in front of his class. We can only guess how many days he did this.
Homosexual "Dads" Celebrated Father's Day At Saddleback Church With Rick Warren, Author Of "The Purpose Driven Life"
This past Father's Day, a group of radical homosexual activists and their families and allies attended Saddleback Church, the church pastored by Rick Warren, author of The Purpose Driven Life. The following day, they shared a private meal with leaders from Saddleback Church and held private discussions with them.
Now, homosexuals are just as valuable in the eyes of God as anyone else, but church leaders do them an extreme disservice by encouraging their sinful behavior instead of helping them get set free from it.
This visit to Rick Warren's "church" was the concluding event of a six week "gay friendly family" road trip by a group of radical homosexual activists. The activists sought to initiate "dialogue" with megachurches across the nation.
But of course the activists were not interested in what Scripture had to say at all.
In December 2007, organizers of this project named "The American Family Outing" invited the key leaders of 6 of the largest megachurches in America to match families from their congregations with homosexual "families" for a meal and conversation. The "outing" commenced on Mother’s Day 2008 when the activists attended Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church in Houston.
Perhaps someone should have shared this Scripture during all of those meetings:
Romans 1:26-27
"Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion."
God loves homosexuals and wants to deliver them and set them free. By affirming their sinful behavior, church leaders are just harming them more in the long run.
Was There A Connection Between The Legalization Of Gay Marriage In California & The Sudden Outbreak Of Over 1000 Fires In California Shortly After?
Doesn't it seem like we just totally miss the message sometimes? Some really unique events have happened in California the past few months, and most Americans would choose to believe that they could never, ever be related to each other.....even if they were.
Firstly, almost everyone has heard that gay marriage has been legal in California since June 16th, 2008. Most of us also understand, whether we like it or not, that this represents a MAJOR turning point for the United States of America.
Secondly, I recently read an article about how San Francisco's gay pride parade this summer was the biggest one they have ever held. Apparently there were hundreds of thousands of people who attended the parade this year.
Thirdly, I received the information below in my email box from Prison Fellowship. The email message talked about the shocking persecution that those who speak out against gay marriage are already starting to experience:
-----
-A Methodist retreat center recently refused to allow two lesbian couples to use a campground pavilion for a civil union ceremony. The state of New Jersey punished the Methodists by revoking the center's tax-exempt status—a vindictive attack on the Methodists' religious liberty.
-In Massachusetts, where judges imposed gay marriage a few years ago, Catholic Charities was ordered to accept homosexual couples as candidates for adoption. Rather than comply with an order that would be harmful to children, Catholic Charities closed down its adoption program.
-California public schools have been told they must be "gay friendly," as Roback Morse notes. But it will not stop with public schools. Just north of the border in Quebec, the government told a Mennonite school that it must conform to provincial law regarding curriculum—a curriculum that teaches children that homosexuality is a valid lifestyle. How long will it be before the U.S. government goes after private schools?
-Even speaking out against homosexuality can get you fired. Crystal Dixon, an associate vice president at the University of Toledo, was fired after writing an opinion piece in the Toledo Free Press in support of traditional marriage.....fired for exercising her First Amendment rights!
-----
What in the world is happening to the United States of America? Will the definition of one of the basic building blocks of society be changed forever?
I have been thinking about what God must be thinking about all of this. As I was thinking about these things, I read an article about how there were over ONE THOUSAND fires that suddenly broke out all across California a while back. The number and intensity of these fires was really unprecedented. This just HAPPENED to take place shortly after gay marriage had been legalized.
Most of the fires were apparently started by incredibly unusual lightning storms. Del Walters, assistant regional chief of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection said, “This is an unprecedented lightning storm in California, that it lasted as long as it did, 5,000 to 6,000 lightning strikes".
So is there a connection between these events? What are we to make of all this?
We would love to know what you think about these things. Please feel free to leave your thoughts and opinions in the Comments section.
